We love mums, dads and babies so much that we choose to get alongside expectant parents and help them through the tough and often daunting journey that is pregnancy and beyond!

Pregnancy can be an exciting time, but for many, it’s frightening and you can feel alone and unprepared. We understand these emotions and would like to support you through this journey. That’s where Treasured Australia comes in. We exist to be a friend and mentor to you in these times. We would love to hear your story and encourage you in this stage of life.

Our Services

We provide free mentoring to people with unplanned or unexpected pregnancies. We can meet up in a place you're comfortable with like a cafe and talk about how you're going.

We aim to help you by:

Encouraging

We will encourage you by celebrating life. Rather than seeing babies as a burden, we see them as a blessing. Pregnancy, childbirth and parenting are all wonderful things that point to the goodness of life and everything we say and do will be shaped by this. The most important way we will demonstrate this is by providing personalised support, one on one mentoring and various types of practical help.

Educating

We can educate you in basic (and not-so-basic) aspects of maternal care and parenting. We run classes on helping babies sleep (so that you can too), breastfeeding, strengthening relationships, cooking, personal finance and more. The aim of all these classes is to help parents care for their baby and themselves.

Equipping

We can equip you by connecting you with resources and services that might be helpful such as local medical and social services, support groups, playgroups, as well as providing access to high quality written resources.

Why we do this...

At Treasured Australia, encouraging, educating and equipping mums is an expression of our love for our neighbour which reflects God’s love for us. We love mums, dads, and babies because God does too. We would love to hear from you.

We are a non-profit organisation affiliated with North Geelong Presbyterian Church and rely on the help of volunteers.
